2020/2021 GRADUATION SPEECH BY THE PROPRIETRESS

The Chairman and Chairperson for this occasion, Parents and Guardians, Members of Staff, Pupils and Students of ADE-OLA International School, Ladies and Gentlemen, I say good morning to you all. I want to first of all thank and give glory to the Almighty God for his faithfulness and his protection over our lives and loved ones. God has given us the grace to witness this year’s graduation ceremony in peace. As we all know that due to the pandemic we couldn’t celebrate last year but we thank God for making this year a reality. Therefore, I welcome you all to this year’s graduation ceremony. Today’s graduation is for our Nursery 2 Pupils going to Grade 1, Grade 6 going to JS1 and JS3 going to SS1. Our SS3 students are still writing exams, their graduation has been shifted to December by the grace of God. It has been God who has been supporting and protecting us despite the economic and security challenges facing our nation Nigeria. In all these we thank God for supporting, guiding and protecting us through 2020/2021 academic session. Today is not a day of lengthy speech but a day to rejoice and celebrate our graduating pupils and students as they move to another phase of learning. I therefore encourage them to be steadfast, diligent and purpose-driven as they move ahead.

I want you to be aware that greater height lies ahead of you and it requires courage to climb the ladder of success. I would also wish to remind you of the vision statement of our school once again. Let it be your guide anywhere you find yourselves that you will always be Godly children with outstanding character who are innovative, inventive and dynamic leaders who can compete with the world challenges. I therefore urge you as children of God to arise with courage and match on in faith towards your God given goals and by the help of God Almighty you all will fulfill your destinies. Before I end my speech, I would like to appreciate the management team, teaching and non-teaching staff for their efforts and courage di

rected towards the fulfillment of the vision and mission statements of the school. I wish to encourage you to keep up with this good work until our school becomes a world class institution that will be emulated by other schools. To our esteemed and respected parents, I say thank you. Thank you for your support and patronage. God bless you all. Finally, I wish to inform you that a lot of activities have been packaged as part of today’s celebration, therefore sit back and enjoy yourselves.
